The release contains 351 symbols, 95 inscriptions and 57 monument forms. It is designed for identification support, not automated claims about a deceased person.
The JSON export preserves nested clues, cautions, research steps, related entries and the full source registry. The CSV is a compact 11-column index; use the JSON alongside it to retain contextual cautions and resolve source IDs.
The top-level reviewed value, 2026-08-08, records the original dataset baseline. Individual records retain their own later review dates; the latest entry review in this export is , not a review of every record on that date. Version 1.0.0 describes the export schema; the download URL fingerprint identifies the exact file contents. A source ID documents a reference used for an entry, not endorsement of every claim by that institution.

Different entry kinds add specialized fields such as meaning, expansion, monument family, visual clues and research steps.

Do not turn pattern matching into biography.
The dataset can suggest candidate identifications. It cannot establish religion, lodge membership, military service, occupation, cause of death or personal belief without corroborating records. Keep the confidence field and source IDs visible in downstream products.
